2024-2025 K-12 Transportation Information
In order to ride a K-12 bus, parents/guardians must complete a transportation request and get confirmation from the transportation administrator that there is a seat for their child. Once that confirmation is given a bus ridership form will be provided that must be signed and returned to the office. Once the ridership form is received and with the confirmation from the administrator, the student will be given a date they can start to ride the bus. Listed times are approximations of when buses will be stopping and could fluctuate by as much as ten minutes in either direction due to traffic and other factors outside of the control of the driver. Please plan for this accordingly by arriving at your child's bus stop at least ten minutes prior to the listed time. Grade 1-12 students will be dropped off regardless of the presence of a parent/guardian at their listed stop.
Bus Services are Provided by: Herrera School Buses and Coaches, Inc.
Students must follow the direction and individual rules of the drivers. This is to ensure the safety of all students and the vehicle. No Student is permitted to play music or any sounds from an electronic device on the bus as it causes a distraction to the driver and can change their awareness of situations on the bus.
Parent complaints should be filed with the School of Dreams Academy Transportation Director in writing. No parent should approach or board the bus or speak directly to a driver about issues or concerns.
Seating on K-12 buses is highly limited. Students will be seated on bus transportation as first come, first serve based on requests and once seats are filled remaining students will be added to a waitlist for seating. When seats become available an invitation will be extended to those on the waitlist. Students may be removed from the bus for failure to follow any rules or based on district need, at which point they will be put onto the waitlist.
Current Availability: Bus 1100 Waitlist, Bus 1101 Open Seats
